UNICEF

UNICEF is the global voice for children who have no voice. Across more than 190 countries, UNICEF does whatever it takes to protect the rights of every child. UNICEF provides global and scalable solutions to the most pressing challenges worldwide – efficiently, transparently and sustainably. Partnering with UNICEF has the potential to create significant, long-term impact for children around the world. Every euro invested has maximum impact for a stable society through economies of scale. Together, we create fairer opportunities and a brighter future for every child.
We never give up – do you?

UNICEF IS UNIQUELY POSITIONED TO WORK TOWARDS AN AMBITOUS AGENDA

UNICEF is leading a collective response to tackle the challenges of today for children and build a renewed ambition towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals for every child. UNICEF partners and donors can count on us to transform the funds provided into effective actions for children. Together,

1. We achieve the greatest impact for children: UNICEF invests in sustainable programming to achieve long-term impact. (UNICEF has improved immunization rates to 85% for children under-5, more girls than ever before are in school, and maternal mortality has dropped significantly. UNICEF’s work has made this possible.)

2. We work at scale: UNICEF works across 190 countries and territories, making us uniquely positioned to advance of the rights of children at national, regional, and global scales. We are the only agency that has this level of presence, both in national capitals but also at community level. It means that we commit to long-term results and scalability around the world.

3. We work across the entire childhood and adolescence: A key comparative advantage of UNICEF is that we work across the years, positioning us as a leader for children at any stage.

4. We are there before, during, and after emergencies: UNICEF has presence on the ground immediately after emergency strikes and stays through recovery. Country Offices are already on the ground with strong relationships with governments and programmes in place they can quickly respond where needed most.

5. We lead and pioneer: Responding to every increasing complex issue requires UNICEF to take risks, to pioneer new solutions, and to be innovative

With your support, we can make this plan a reality, adding another remarkable chapter to UNICEF’s 76-year story of progress for children.
